I’ll have one for ya’. I could use it.
And they all look unpleasantly red right now.
Maybe they’ll think it’s in the bag and go home instead of voting.
I got a Not Your Fathers I wasn’t sure I would partake, but knowing you’re down for the count, I’ll join @GulliverFoyle in helping you to a virtual buzz.
I see that 2 of the 3 states already in the red column have an interesting fact in common: their polls close at 6pm Eastern Time. Oh, that’s not infringing on anyone’s ability to go vote after work, is it?
On the one hand, I believe everyone should vote, even scumbags and scumbags’ willfully blind enablers. On the other hand, I’m not eager to play chicken with the abyss.
Sure, but he’d do even better with the inbreeding crowd…
…for example.
Sorry I’m late to the GOTV party:
Meh… it’s not a peach!
Presidential candidate Richard Duncan:
has ~10,000 votes right now in Ohio apparently. Secretary Clinton is only 1000 or so votes above Mr. Trump. This fucking state. This fucking country. This goddamned world. Hmpf.
Guys. The President cannot unilaterally suspend elections and declare himself dictator-for-life. He can command whatever he damn well pleases, just like I can, but he won’t get it without the cooperation of the government and the military, which won’t happen. Yes, there are far-right crazies who actually want to overturn the Constitution and turn America into a religious state. They are not a majority of voters, or of Congress, or of the commanders of the US military.
Well fuck. I mean it was never very likely Texas would go Democrat, but Clinton was doing much better than Obama did four years ago, so I allowed myself to hope.
I’ll just be over here brooding with @manybellsdown’s drink…and mine…and the bottle.
I’m starting to be more upset with Johnson supporters than anyone. All those states that are so fucking close because of those percentage points. Almost 10% in New Mexico last I checked!
This election shouldn’t be this close. It’s a travesty that it is.
He’s strongly anti-choice, so probably his votes haven’t come from disaffected Democrats. The only one actively going after Clinton votes is Jill Stein. In any event, Ohio is looking to be a rout in Trump’s favor (which is admittedly a little shocking).
Hopefully they’re taking Trump votes
Fuck it. I’ve started on the rum. At least vomiting might be a distraction.
No kidding. I can’t take it.
A little something to go with the rum?
FiveThirtyEight has gone from a 71% chance of a Clinton victory this morning to a 55% chance of a Cheeto Hitler. Suddenly I regret my lack of a passport IMMENSELY.
