Ugh-my instant pot has stopped seating the lid properly, so now it whistles alarmingly when I try to pressure cook with it. I’ve checked the float valve and put on a new gasket. I noticed steam leaking from around the lid when I started cooking, so I tried reseating the gasket and tried again to get pressure. The valve closed but still the steam and then the noise, new gasket, same issues. No idea what else might be wrong.

I just went to a Trader Joe’s in Chicago and the only Del Popolo pizza they had was the pepperoni, so I cannot second your recommendation yet. Hopefully they’ll start carrying more flavor combinations soon.

Man, US prices amaze me sometimes, paying $10 for a ~250 gram bread disk?
Used to go out for pretty good pizza in Italy, a margherita with table service was 7 euro. You could get a ciclista (olive oil, rock salt and rosemary ) for 3.50…

Yum. Just finished most of the prep so we can have “on demand” mediterranean style salads all weekend:
It’ll get tossed in a dressing of olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
I have some sardines, too, in case we want to be super savory.
I love the return of spring and salad season.
