Here's what Congressional Republicans have to gain and lose by impeaching Trump

Hey now, that’s pretty insulting to muppets. I wish we could have elected a muppet instead of the mango monster (I love that one. Mango monster, though it is also insulting to mangos…).

Yeah, their plans seem about as well-thought-out as the Cylons’ so-called plan. “Nuke all the human worlds! And then… I dunno… chase 'em around and stuff!”

To paraphrase the host of a morning radio talk show today, “I was shocked at how many crazy people there are in the world. Somehow they manage to have jobs, cars, and homes, but they are loony-tunes crazy.” He said he was basing it on the phone calls, emails and letters he’s received.

The explanations were plausible until I read the words “unified democratic party”. Then I had a good laugh.

At what point is the case against Trump damning enough?
If he was a Democrat, he’d have been assassinated by now.

I name him Muppet because of his ‘smile.’

It’s true he would have split the Democratic vote, but he would have gotten all the Independents and a surprisingly large share of the Republicans. He could have won. However, had Trump won in that scenario then Bernie would have been blamed and his chances for another shot at it would be doomed. But if he’s playing the long game then he made the right decision.

I’ve played this game until I’m sick of it. Every turn ends with Option “B” – especially the most recent Congressional special elections (If Ossoff loses next month, then game is over IMHO and Option B wins out permanently.) Please note just how many awful, inhumane and reactionary policies have already been passed these past few months—in legislature and executive action; the damage is so bad it’ll be decades righting the ship no matter what happens.

At this point you’re talking about an organism that’s at least 85% tumor.

Interesting, I wasn’t aware of any real evidence against Pence. I’m mildly surprised, but not shocked. Maybe less that he did it, and more that he was clumsy enough to get caught.

Amazing to see this level of delusion, even in the 21st century.

This level of delusion is considered common sense in some circles. Mainly from people who can’t deal with what our reality is.

People who lean towards authoritarianism can’t deal with change.

I can’t cope with it that well either, but I somehow avoid going around saying things like that.

(What’s really depressing is that isn’t even the worst I’ve seen this week.)

I was hoping for that at first, but i think that most of his cabinet have been carefully picked by Bannon to not stand up to him (whether that “him” is Bannon or Trump, i don’t know).

us centrist pro-business folks that jumped over to the Democrats to go back to the GOP

Why go back? The Democrats are everything you want in that regard. Because of marginal party members like Warren who get to go out there to toss red meat at the anti-corporate left while the rest of the party are wine and dined by Wall Street?
