i totally understand that perspective. presumably the show runner and others felt the same. the process of preparing and hashing through all that - id love to be a fly on the wall and see how it all gets done
whatever the case, i am looking forward to more. keeping fingers crossed the show plays out its promise

I thought exactly the same thing, and was surprised to see that she’s nice (and probably a young nine at the time of filming). Still, I thought she was great. This is exactly what Leia would be like as a child.

But there’s a contradiction there. Lloyd wasn’t playing a “precocious 10-year-old”. A portrayal of a precocious 10-year-old with some evil foreshadowing might have worked (eg, Millie Bobby Brown in Stranger Things did just that). Lloyd just wasn’t a child actor. He was just a child.
