There is not a single frame in this gif where “he” was doing well. They already had lost control before they came into frame, A better driver may not have left the road before passing the last car, but even this hypothetical master driver would have to get into the opposing traffic lane to soften out the weight shifting afterwards. That was a pendulum manouver even if slower, which would have, if perfectly executed, dependet on no one suddenly change their speed. Let’s say because a black out of control monster appears in the rear view mirror. Driver should go to jail.
Zero sympathy for the asshole SUV driver. I hope no one else in the SUV was hurt.
