Is this the ultimate "I'm not racist, but..."

I don’t know where the confusion comes from, these people are clearly notzis.

Of course.

Racism is like gas. Everybody has it.

There’s a great breakdown of this here:

Yeah, I like to compensate my content providers.

No, but you don’t have to know the history - only the current usage (e.g. by neo-Nazis worldwide). People pretending it has something to do with “heritage” are ignoring its contemporary use, i.e. its only use.

I remember that too!

Ah, memories. I remember watching Wrestlemania 6 live on PPV and them hyping how 7 would be in the Colosseum with over 100,000 fans only to have it then later move to the far smaller Sports Arena.

The whole Iraqi sympathizer angle and gimmick was just stupid. Then again that whole post-WM6 time was pretty damn awful. Remember The Gobbledygooker?

Me too. I bought a couple of things in the Boing Boing store. Now they have more money than me than they’d have gotten in a decade of ads.

Ads are annoying. Even worse, they’re actively dangerous to users these days as the primary vector for malware attacks.

Go buy some stickers, a t-shirt, or a vaporizer if you feel guilt.

Coincidentally, WM32 took the Gooker Award for 2016 only the other day.

Kind of shocking that there are no glaring mis-spellings. Maybe he ran it by an immigrant first.

Perhaps just four slices of pizza in front of open space, I’m ok with that.

Wait, does that actually say “NOW-RACIST”? Like, “why wait to discriminate?”

At what point does a vehicle become worthy of being a billboard?

It’s not uncommon to see Howard Finsteresque rasict paintings on boards and barns in the hills of Va /W.Va. Usually accompanied by religious ramblings and back woods curses. Usually the trucks just have ‘Farm Use’ painted on them. Confederate beach towels are displayed often next to black velvet Elvis paintings up there.

I thought that guy was supposed to be Jesus, and I assumed he requested the NON-RACIST part included before he granted the rights to his image.

Now with added racism!

sigh

If you’re swinging around the KKK’s 1950s flag, you’re supporting racism.

I was just about to reply to that also. I can’t quite tell if the people who are wondering what’s on the left-hand figure’s head are only joking, or seriously asking. But yes, I think that would be Christ with a cruciform halo (below). And to the right of the flag, the Virgin Mary with a crown.

Don’t blame the haters for that little bit of serendipity!

So, going along with the religious iconography, if he had painted up a two door with a hatchback he could pulled off a triptych of hate.
