Whoever had the text trove wanted them released to the public, not trickled out in 42 articles released gradually over the next 2.5 years. WaPo is better than NYT but not by much in that regard.

As the Jan 06 Final Report gets closer to it’s final state I’d expect to see more leaks. The doc will be getting passed around for proofreading, legal, political and printing. There are many points where TPM or others will make themselves “available”. Maybe a bit more sleazy than the WaPo would care to be.
