Wait, I though it was Japanese and white men buying Asian womens’ worn clothes for… well, what ever people do with that sort of thing.
Yeah, this seemed an obvious spoof of the vending machines selling used panties. Which arguably is not really a thing in Japan either:

My favorite reaction was from the pink girl who was “Eew, gross” but also simultaneously “sure, I’d be down with that, if the price was reasonable”.
That is exactly the kind of rampant curiosity we need to keep evolving as a species.
Quite a painfully drawn-out rationale. I’m sure ad agencies strategize for that kind of needed brain-work when they think of TV viewers
That reminds me of an OLD, near the end sketch of SNL with Tom Hanks where Tom Hanks would smell or do something, and he’d be like, “OH man, this milk is awful. Here smell this.”
“OH man, that really stinks. Here Molly, smell this.”
etc.
And then Hanks would take a swig, “Oh, that is just awful. Bleh, here you gotta taste this.”
Heck, she was working out the logistical chain and business plan.

Yeah, it’s BS. They were trying to be funny and it backfired, but they can’t admit it.
Possibly BS. But the last few years have informed me that what may appear as intentionally funny, could have been seriously intended (ex: lawyer-speak).

Hm. Mixed whisky drinks in cans, at least. The straight liquor seems to be in bottles. (Saves chugging the whole can to avoid wasting it, I guess.)
The real stereotype is white guys wanting to buy used panties in a vending machine. I thought maybe they were trying to turn that on its head and being too clever by half but maybe not?
I love how the one girl totally wanted this to be real and wanted to buy it.
I also noticed the interviewer must be from the Kansai area, she used めっちゃ at one point instead of とっても, the standard Japanese. Normally professionals on TV in Japan regardless of where they come from do not go into that dialect at all because it’s considered very unprofessional or very informal.
Kansai ben, as its called, is thought of as a dialect of comedians, for various reasons, so more than any other dialect, a professional specifically avoids it (despite Kansai being a major region including Osaka).
