The way I read the quote, he was trying to say all New Yorkers will suffer because of Cuomo’s decisions/actions, but phrased in a pretty ham-fisted way. That’s pretty far from how TLP has made it sound like what he was saying.
I’m gonna stop here though because I’m getting dangerously close to defending anything done or said by that slimy slumlord shitweasel. That cannot be allowed to happen.
The Ivanka image, meh, her team’s policies killed all those people, so yeah; put her picture next to the results. That’s 100% fair.
Any way you slice it he still said that the resulting suffering was New Yorkers’ problem, not the White House’s problem.
THAT is the offensive part; that Jared, like his father-in-law, doesn’t think the White House should worry itself over the lives of people who live in states run by Democrats.
It’s a photo of her doing crime - she’s an Executive Branch employee promoting a product for her dad’s (and boss’) political donor. It’s a trifecta of Hatch Act violations, campaign finance violations, and just plain bribery.
I’m not sure how that affects whether ‘shooping the photo is somehow “libel” but it seems like it would be easy to make the argument that it’s a valid criticism of the government; that Ivanka was doing crimes on behalf of daddy instead of dealing with the pandemic. Fair game.
