Jared Kushner says Palestinians screw-up every opportunity they've ever had, in celebration of a proposed two-state deal that he left them out of

There was a suggestion to give Jews a state in eastern Germany, the part they lost to Poland after WW II, as compensation for the Holocaust. By then the Zionist were already down in Palestina terrorizing both the British and the natives to get a state there, and it was more convenient for the Great Powers to give them a state there rather than give up European territory.

The Oslo accords of 1993 were supposed to be such a start. This isn’t the “beginning” of that process, it’s the final nail in its coffin.

Yes, everyone knows where they stand. For example, the Palestinians know that this administration has no intention of conducting good-faith negotiations for a two state solution.

When were we facing the imminent threat of nuclear annihilation? No serious thinkers really believed that Kim was on the verge of launching a first-strike nuclear attack against the U.S. since that would be the quickest way to ensure the complete and utter annihilation of his own regime.

We aren’t pre-judging. We’re judging what Kushner and Trump actually did. Nothing in either man’s life suggests that this announcement is just a cover story masking some brilliant piece of diplomatic statecraft going on behind the scenes, unless you count “secret efforts to involve other countries in U.S. elections.”

The only ones who are pleased by this proposal are the people looking for an excuse to diss Palestinians for rejecting it.

NK never had the capability to nuke the US. (Thought it is probably in development to create a missile that can, they can’t right now.)

NK has a cycle of causing a kerfuffle, acts aggressively, and rattles its sabers. The international community swoops in to tut tut and challenge and condemn their actions.

NK then makes an “agreement” to settle down, solving the crisis it created. For a time it buys goodwill and makes them look like they are reasonable and things calm down.

Until the next cycle.

The US in the past basically ignored the trolling, but Trump swoops in to be the hero, makes some great photo ops, claims victory with the “agreement” that NK planned to have all along, and he suddenly thinks he’s a real statesman.

But we haven’t actually curtailed any of their actions. They agreed to shut down facilities that the intelligence community already thought were damaged or obsolete, and eventually we find them building something new somewhere else.

I can only assume this means that a Netanyahu announcement of an official investigation into Bernie Sander’s children’s dealings with Israeli corporations is forthcoming.

Actually, the state of Israel was approved by unanimous vote by the League of Nations, and by multiple treaties/conventions signed by multiple nations. Its bona fides are more legitimate than many countries, including the US.

The Oslo Accords is a treaty. And treaties delineate the responsibilities of the signers to specific behaviors, or the treaty faces abrogation. The Palestinians began breaking the terms of the Oslo Accords within the first week it was signed, and have continued to do so to this day. Israel, on the other hand, has stood by its obligations. So, if there is coffin nailing to be assessed, it should be assessed against the Palestinians.

Are you f’ing kidding? Jesus H Christ (Irony)

My Clara Belle objects harshly and denies any relationship with that family, specifically referring to, and I quote, “Cat of a man.” Interpret as you will.

That and like … you know, talk to people.

(I would also avoid those weird American Christians that just want the apocalypse so Jesus comes back.)

Step 1: Pet the dog.
Step 2: Kick the dog.
Lather, rinse, repeat.

Oh please. Next you’ll insist the United States government has faithfully abided by the terms of every treaty it ever signed with indigenous Americans.

You cannot be serious. Trump has completely screwed the world with his pandering to Little Rocket Man, who will never power down his nukes, will never stop taunting S. Korea, will never stop starving his own people. You have a remarkably simplistic view; posting on BB would indicate some great bravery, no matter how misplaced.

I don’t think you’re being fair to Trump here. How many times have you been attacked by a tiger, struck by lightning, or turned into a newt since Trump took office? 0? Well then how about some gratitude to the man who is keeping you safe from from tigers, lighting, and witches, hmmm?

That would never work.

Now based on what Trump’s legal team has said, Elizabeth Warren wrestling a pen into Donald Trump’s hand and forcing his hand to sign a letter saying “I, Donald J. Trump, resign the office of President of the United States, effective immediately.” is perfectly legal if she does it to increase her chances of being elected.

Well, in a Mindysan administration, you can at least be a member of the negotiation team!

I have a hunch they know pretty damn well that there is no Jesus. They’re just afraid that after they die of old age they can no longer prevent everyone from having fun, so they want to watch the whole thing burn.
