So…his explanation, if I have this right, is essentially, “I was just kidding, y’all! But it’s true, tho!” Yeah, fuck that guy.

More a “Didn’t mean to offend family pets, but those childless women! Am I right? Am I right?”

Way to double-down there! He’s just breathing new life into this and making sure everyone knows it wasn’t a joke.
I hope that article I read about the Swifties picking this up and running with it are true

This behavior is one of the ways you can tell the lizard people from the normies.

I just can’t get over the irony of a Republican arguing that only those with children care about the future, given all the “big, traditional family” Republicans who have spent years actively making the world a less livable place - quite literally in the case of climate change issues. His whole party is the living proof against those kinds of claims.

I wonder how sarcastic his old blog is.

Corey Robin writes on FBook:

When he was deployed in Iraq and a student at Yale Law School, J.D. Vance occasionally blogged. “It’s like a diary,” he wrote, “only far more masculine.”

Here’s what I learned about Vance from his blogs.

  1. Getting emotional, he feels “more like a female than I think I ever have or will.”

  2. He thinks that, except for Jesus Christ, Winston Churchill may have been the greatest man that ever lived and that his life was a lot like Vance’s.

  3. He cries twice on one day. With one exception, this is the only time he’s cried since he was 13.

  4. “Apparently the Whiffenpoofs (or something like that), a Yale a cappella group, is having an open-bar event to celebrate their appearance on some reality show. Hopefully I can get done in time to go.”

If we can get all the Catwomen onboard too that’s a pretty significant demographic! (Almost as many of them as there are Bat-men)

aren’t children a tax deduction already? This is done and done. Don’t families utilize more tax payer funded services? What is the reasoning behind this? Why is not having children “bad”?

Because women should ONLY be mothers and wives, nothing else, in their fucked up world view. We’re not people, we’re broodmares. :woman_shrugging:
