But thanks for thinking of me
I didn’t know what he was up to now.
We’re all suffering from comparison bias. Biden is off to the busiest start in a long time, but that was only because he was left the biggest pile of garbage in a very long time. He’s been given a golden opportunity to look amazing by being highly average.
That said, the previous administration’s people were so very very bad and in our face constantly that we’re unable to remember The Beforetimes.

PSAKI BOMBED! Why do they keep trying this tired old trope “People are Saying”?
I know. It’s weird. It would be much easier to just say, “I personally think … What do you have to say about that?”
Because they’re not products of journalism school, and never worked their way up the industry?
They probably have a set of routines that they’ve been drilled on.
I love her grin when she said “like?” She was having fun.
Every time CJ Cr- err, Jen Psaki smacks down a Newsmax reporter, an angel gets its wings.
The whole ‘two sides of every story’ stuff is often just a way to try and bring some legitimacy to an argument. While it can be true that there are two sides to a story, sometimes the one side is just a quagmire of stupidity, hate and lies. Trump uses that ‘people are saying’ garbage all the time, so I have no problem with Psaki stripping it bare for what it is - a way to say something you want to express and get out there, but you really don’t want to be accountable for.
Yep. This.
We don’t need to give it equal bearing in conversations of policy. Nope.
Every time Trumpists come out with that “People are saying…” comment I always hope somebody will respond with “The voices in your head don’t count”.
It doesn’t even matter who the “people” are.
“I say things to people who ask me questions, Emerald. Did you have a question to ask?”
