So… finding a photo of your kid naked on their phone and keeping it is possession, tweeting it, even accidentally, is distribution of child pornography. I think she may get rid of the second charge with the good ol’ excuse of my finger slipped and such (and at least on Instagram, where you can like stuff by double tapping it, it’s plausible), but not the first one. What the heck was she planning to do with that picture? Threaten her daughter with an accidental leakage of the pic? I can’t find a decent excuse to exonerate Mrs. Conway here. Did I just hear the people chanting Lock Her Up? Anyone?

Once again, this is the elite class here, not people who live in trailer parks, who often have no wealth or status to speak of. The problem isn’t the working poor who can’t afford other kinds of housing. Which, by the way, people like Warren Buffet benefit renting to through his real estate company.

This is either not the whole story or predates the whole story as is in the NY Post. Not opining against what’s being said, but towards the end of the piece:
On Tuesday, the vocal teen apologized for publicizing the matter, saying she now believed hackers were to blame — and calling on members of the public to stop contacting authorities about the matter.
“I know that my mom would never, ever post anything to hurt me like that intentionally and I do believe she was hacked,” Claudia said in the mea culpa, adding that she was going to take a break from social media. “I want to apologize for making all of this public.”

Yup. That applies no matter where the story is heading now. One of my relatives discovered something similar with their kid receiving an image, talked to their kid and the other kid’s parents.

Have you seen any of the videos Claudia has taken of her mother?
The ones where very clearly Kellyanne spends protracted amounts of time screaming like an animal at her daughter, calling her a whore among many other names, striking her, claiming that she never raises her voice to Claudia while literally screaming at the top of her lungs?
It’s not just a few videos.
That kind of admission from Claudia sounds very much like “I wish this didn’t get out because now my mom is abusing me even more”. Her dad isn’t sticking around for this.
I grew up in evangelical christianity. The whole belief system is fundamentally dishonest and it trains you to constantly tell lies to try to get your way or get out of trouble.
I would be more surprised if that wasn’t a forced apology and confession. That’s very common in abusive households.
Yes it’s important to tech your kids about this kind of risky behavior. But the only reason a narcissist like Kellyanne even cares about her daughter having nudes is that it embarasses her.
