I’ve seen several articles talking about how this was the only time in its history that the TV broadcasts of the house showed anything other than the center of the room and as few people as possible - that’s by the demand of the sitting House members, who don’t want to get caught talking to the wrong people on TV. Until they were sworn in, they had no say in what the broadcast showed, which made for the most interesting C-SPAN broadcast ever.
No arguments here. Seeing Matt Gaetz almost get throttled by another colleague was something you don’t see every day.
No court challenge required. The problem with executive orders is that they are extremely fragile. Pretty much every president promptly reverses all the ones put in by the previous one. The important stuff that Obama did via that mechanism is already long gone.
Which is kinda surprising, really.
