Maybe “Neo-Nazi couple” made the headline too short for the space in The Independent’s physical paper or something. Then again it could be an attempt at a subtle burn, suggesting the fact a Neo-Nazi had a girlfriend was unusual enough to rate a mention in the headline.
ETA: But you’re probably right, and its just the usual unthinking sexism

Federal authorities say that he met his girlfriend, Sarah Beth Clendaniel while she was serving her own prison sentence for a string of armed robberies of convenience stores in Maryland.

Quick, somebody tell Paul Gosar and the House Republicans - I know how much they hate anti-semitism and can’t stand to let even the semblance of it go unpunished even years after the fact.
I’m sure they will promptly denounce Scott McKay, and demand Eric Trump makes amends for cozying up to McKay and providing him a platform.

Don’t ever let the assholes try to convince you that laws designed to prevent violent people from getting their hands on firearms don’t work. This time it may have saved lives.
