Very funny⦠I just broke my phone
Also βThe Pennsylvania State University.β
Florida teacher grooming kids to engage in violent treason.
Unless that title was followed by βof Evil and Failureβ - she should be suspended until being fired.
At one point in the video, the teacher suggests a different name for the Civil War.
β[The] Civil War, but may be more correctly titled the War To Prevent Southern Independence,β he said.
fired sounds good.
Iβm a little surprised the term wasnβt βThe War of Northern Aggression.β
βOr not. The Daily Beast reports that βshortlyβ after the tweet was posted, the NRCC deleted itβand that as of Saturday afternoon, the whole fundraising pitch had been yanked from view.
Wondering why that might be? Oh, itβs quite possibly because Bud Light parent company Anheuser-Busch and its employees donated NEARLY HALF A MILLION FLIPPINβ DOLLARS to the NRCC during the 2022 elections. Whoops. Oh, I cannot even imagine the conversation that probably took place when the NRCCβs higher-ups learned that their staff had themed a whole fundraising campaign around bashing one of their major donors. But it probably involved throwing things!β
Womp-womp.
Are my hands still clean after Iβve licked all the Scotch off?
Guess youβll just have to sterilize your mouth next.
Wtaf? Lol. What a bunch of morons.
I guess theyβre not giving any awards out in the leg for 10 years of service.
Facebook meme laws. Oh joy.
I think this (an out of court settlement) would be the worse outcome. It would allow Fox to keep covering up just how rotten their βjournalismβ is and keep harming our democracy. Any settlement that does not include Fox correcting their lies on air, to their audience, from the big names on the network will be a loss.
Yeah I want accountability.
Fox has played a major role in all of this - helping to normalize all sorts of right wing nastiness, functioning as a mouth-piece for Trump, trying to cover up the insurrection, etc. The only way that changes is if they are held accountableβ¦
Itβs a real problem if they come to a settlement and part of it prevents the plaintiffs from speaking about it.
And we all know that that is what Fox would push for - along with no restrictions on their future conduct. Dominion seems to have a strong case, and it would be a shame (understatement) if they go for a settlement that does not include accountability.
