Hide and watch for more and more of this sort of thing. We are increasingly unwilling to sacrifice our ethics and morals on this alter, even for those unaffected (directly) by these laws. Unfortunate but predictable side-effect of the culture wars is that those with the resources to do so will leave. And most professionals have those resources.

The bit about two pro-Trump factions screaming at each other, with one side accusing the other of being white nationalists and the other responding that their foes supported open borders, jostling with one another and nearly coming to blows is fun to read.
The interesting part is about the national Republican Party demanding that each state party update its primary rules for the 2024 election. In California there were two proposals on the table, one that probably would benefit DeSantis over Trump - and one that probably would benefit Trump over DeSantis.
“Go woke, go broke” is fascist fantasy. “Go fash, no cash” is the reality, despite screams of “cancel culture” and such nonsense. I will say again, with 20% of Gen Z population identifying as LGBTQ+, the future is very bleak for fascists, and they know it. You can see the Kubler-Ross stages playing out in real time. We are currently at “anger.”
