He’s also a Jordan Peterson fan
Sorry, Sarah. But Trump has called several times for people to come out and support him since the arrests and convictions - and zero happened.
Funny how enforcement of the law after Jan 6th - long as it took - completely derailed the entire criminal movement. Those shitweasels won’t do any large scale action if there’s consequences.
good sleuthing.
i also find it kind of… rich… that in the song he complains about the government doing nothing for miners:
what he really means i think is drill baby drill. ( and his qanaon nonsense is seriously bad )
Not to mention ) wanting the government to do anything at all for miners since that would be, you know, “socialism.”
i don’t think i’ve seen Beau so all over the place in his video commentary. that was hard to follow and full of speculation (that he readily admits) and possibly the least satisfying Beau installment.
YMMV.
whatever mr oliver’s actual politics, i think it is safe to say the gentleman is being disingenuous in his reaction to his song being used by the fascholes in the R debate.
yeah, I guess his point is that this guy isn’t part of the authoritarian right, but is a small government conservative… but I’m not sure I’m buying that line of thinking. His rejection of the candidates on the stage might be because he’s a trumper… and his video selection noted above makes me think that’s the case. Who is MORE authoritarian right than Trump?
Yeah. We get the same lament from conservatives out here in the PNW about logging.
It’s not the big bad government that’s taken away those jobs; it’s the corporate consolidation, automation, and lack of safety regulation (in the form of fewer workers working longer shifts) that have decreased those jobs.
Frankly, I think the world would benefit from paying workers NOT to extract those resources for at least a generation, with where we are in terms of climate change. Coal being the highest-density carbon de-fixation and harvesting of old-growth timber being the worst extirpation of carbon fixation factories.
given how much anthropogenically enhanced disasters have cost this year alone - when we’re still in the very beginning stages of the coming climate changes - i will gladly sign on that dotted line
They’re the ones who “desecrated the chapel”. And they wonder why people keep leaving the church. Why would followers of Christ’s teachings want to be associated with the likes of them?
Cuteservatives is totally a thing you guys!
Media Matters story if you don’t want to click on this shit on YouTube:
“cuteservatives”…? Yeah, that’s not reinforcing the patriarchy at all…
All about what total victims they are, of course.
All while 10 years from now, they’ll probably all be married to millionaires.
give me a break! what utter puke. “men flock to [her] in bars because [she’s] conservative.” bullshit!
“well, i found you attractive until you started to spew that nonsense”.
sure, Jan. sounds like a creepy old sugar daddy pipeline. or more simply… grooming.
@anon61221983 has got it right. the “cuteservative” is just feeding the toxic patriarchal bullshit that needs to end.
I thought that was TPUSA’s official mission statement?
Good reminder! Coulda put Lee Atwater in there too.
Warning, n-word ahead:
