I suspect what he is relying on is:
The now-second crookedest president ever is maybe not the best reference source.

The NFL isn’t the only show on TV where you could watch people with brain damage
Don’t entirely agree with one of the comments.
Before Thanksgiving.
When discussing the uncredited co-creator of Batman & noting that it was thought that there was no one to press that claim as the artists son who was gay died of AIDS in the 90’s.
He located a daughter & now the co-creator is recognized by DC.
don’t be too surprised if donors try to artificially push it on the best sellers list. probably depends on how well she’s liked in the party right now
( see also the recent qanon movie, and the qanon ish song )
Anything to keep them out of school, and the profit is a bonus!
Republicans currently grilling Merrick Garland to demand why he isn’t stepping in to interfere with the Hunter Biden investigation led by special counsel David Weiss. Garland gently reminds Republicans that Weiss was appointed by Donald Trump.
Imagine how much angrier they’d be if the Biden-appointed guy really did step in to override the authority of the Trump-appointed guy.
They are upset he isn’t interfering? Did they think he’d be pushing for harsher prosecution?
They’re convinced that any outcome that doesn’t result in the entire Biden family being catapulted into the sun for treason could only be the result of unfair and illegal interference from the White House, so why isn’t Garland doing something about that??
It does matter what Garland actually does… if it’s not a full endorsement of Trump as god-king, it’s “wrong”…
Trying to get around Tuberville’s assholery.
I first thought “OK, why wasn’t this done way earlier?”
If Schumer wished to confirm all of the nominees that are waiting on the Senate floor one-by-one, as he plans to do with these top-tier officials, a recent memo from the Congressional Research service found it could take as many as 89 8-hour workdays, during a time when Congress must manage a number of other priorities, including funding the government before Oct. 1 to avoid a shutdown.
How the Republican party continues to get any popular support from U.S. service members is beyond me.
I’m sure they spent months trying to find someway to appease the asshole, because we have to be bi-partisan, and of course, his own party won’t do shit to deal with him… so…
Exactly. One of the top priorities of the GOP is dysfunction. Tuberville is doing a fine job representing his party’s core values.
i’d also suspect there’s an idea rattling around in their heads that if they can hold all appointments till the next election and ■■■■■ wins, then they’ll be able to remake the military into whatever they want.
