Unborn babies are a source of profound joy for those who view them. Expectant parents eagerly share ultrasound photos with loved ones. Friends and family cheer at the sight of an unborn child. Doctors delight in working with their unborn patients – and experience an aesthetic injury when they are aborted.
ETA: I misread patients as parents. It still stands, though. The patient is the mother to be, not the fetus.

Luckily, ICWA was saved by the Supreme Court last year. Neil Gorsuch, as it turns out, is a big supporter of laws designed to protect Native American’s rights. But yes, Gibson Dunn is awful.

Who knows? But whoever the R’s pick won’t be compromising with the Dems at the start. You get what you can till you have a majority.
And can’t any member file for a removal vote? That might be a sliver of leverage. The Dems could file that and might get a few random R’s to vote that way. The ones who want to remove him now. But they’re just oppositional on everything; so maybe not.
