So Fox actually has some standards… I am mildly impressed.

wait wait, the news here is that fox fired someone for gross prejudice. Not to divert the issue, there’s lots of biased people in he world who belittle women, but most of them work for Fox and if this sets a behavioral precedent, I won’t be able to discredit anything they say because of the source. Life just got complicated.

I almost wonder if he just got too close to “offends the ears of pearl-clutchers” territory

Fox News fired him, which is kind of a big deal, considering – you know. Fox News.

Well he is black. Firing a token pundit is always easier for them than canning a toxic white male like O’Reilly.

Such vehement protests! I wonder what he’s covering up?

The saddest thing is, most Fox viewers probably agree with him.

Grown ass man saying that shit has the nerve to tell someone else to “grow up”?

And he didn’t get promoted to Supreme Court Justice?

More than “lying skanks”, I think this is what really got him fired:

“TO HELL with the notion that women must be believed no matter what.”

Don’t want to dump on all female viewers; that’s a no-no with mid-terms coming up.

You beat me to it; the token didn’t ‘know his place’ well enough.

Especially not their white female viewers. There’s a long and fraught history about a black man denying a claim of sexual violation by a white woman in the minds of the kind of viewer who watches Fox News.

And FOX knows that most of its loyal viewers (white) wouldn’t care anyway if another one was sent on her/his way.

Brainspore I think you are referring to the wrong Kevin Jackson. The Kevin Jackson who who wrestled - the 1992 gold medalist and one of the greatest wrestlers in American history is a different Kevin Jackson. Don’t slander the man.

Ah, thank you for the correction.

It should take zero effort not to be like this.

His mother and his wife (possibly) must be so proud.

They fired a black man who made comments about a white woman’s sexuality. I am not at all surprised. If a white Faux News person had said the exact same things, nothing whatsoever would have happened.

At least when/if put in front of the cameras. Visuals, you know.

Oh it is a shitty double standard for sure, but still.
