I get how Elon Musk would empathize with trump. They both inherited wealth plundered from lands robbed from indigenous populations and had the world handed to them in such a way that they both believe that they created their worlds from whole cloth. To question the legitimacy of trump would be to question his own existence. Clearly, he’s not a person capable of much self-reflection beyond looking in the mirror and seeing a Titan of Industry™.

Yeah, I hard disagree on this. Sure, he still pops up from time to time on OAN or whatever, but his reach is significantly reduced now that he can’t blast out bullshit to millions of followers 24/7.

I prefer this BBS. Generally there is more reasoned conversation, and I rarely see a digression to simple name calling. I waded out of the Twitter cesspool long ago, and once that skin infection cleared up I felt great, haven’t looked back since.

Would love to see expanded filters and AI based metrics to filter out accounts (or retweets of accounts) with a low accuracy (liars) score. Have free speech but also have the ability to make the choice to not have that up in your feed. Also have them and other filters on by default so users have to opt into the lies.
