She probably does think that PR is not part of the US. Half of all Americans donāt realize this.
Whatās worse is her insisting that he provide a visa, and asking about his immigration status. For cold medicine, of all things. Even if he was there on a student visa, what business is it of hers? You donāt need to be a US citizen to buy cold medicine.
