The department of unaccountably trying to explain multiple things as one thing gabbles: trump is having mini-strokes (in a fit of pique over his losing numbers) which often cause slurred speech. trump handlers beg musk to find an excuse to delay until they can get trump the right cocktail of uppers, anti-coagulants, and cold towels so that he can assemble sentences about as well as he normally can, musk concocts the DDOS attack, delays a bit, and the soft-balls fly. (“naaah… sufthering suthccotash!”)
this part at least seems entirely possible. the “attack” could have been too many people political reporters tying to listen at once. a “use of service” more than a “denial”
but he/they do deserve a good denial of service attack, so if it was that, i applaud the effort
Because of his malfunctioning teeth he could only manage 2.2 LPM compared to his 2.7 LPM (lies per minute). Musk graciously provided an additional 0.5 LPM.

When it did eventually go live, just over a million were able to tune in, though Donald Trump at one point congratulated Musk on attracting more than 60 million people to the Space, which was met with a lengthy silence from the X owner.

“The biggest threat is not global warming, where the ocean is going to rise one-eighth of an inch over the next 400 years,” he [Trump] told Musk.
“You’ll have more ocean front property, right? The biggest threat is not that. The biggest threat is nuclear warming, because we have five countries now that have significant nuclear power, and we have to not allow anything to happen with stupid people like Biden.”

I can’t even.
ETA:
But I was wondering what the actual sea level rises are, so I looked it up on a few sources, e.g. NOAA.
- Since 1880, the ocean has risen 8 to 9 inches.
- In 2022, the ocean had risen 4 inches above the 1993 level.
- Depending on what we do about GHG emissions, sea levels by 2100 will rise between 2 and 7 feet (0.6 to 2.2 m).
- Trends suggest that China’s emissions may have already peaked.
- Let’s not give up, no matter what the weird foolish people are saying.
he doesnt have any idea how this stuff works, does he?
‘Normal’ service has been resumed in the Creep State:
“The biggest threat is not global warming, where the ocean is going to rise one-eighth of an inch over the next 400 years, the biggest threat is nuclear warming.”
“Russia defeated Germany with us, and they defeated Napoleon. You know, they’ve been around a long time. They’re a big fighting force, and it’s very unfair … We’re in a very bad position. And I’m not going to blame, exclusively, but I can tell you, I could have stopped that.”
In an emailed response to an inquiry about the lisp from a Huffington Post reporter, the Trump campaign said, “Must be your s****y hearing. Get your ears checked.”
All two hours.
So, why does this even need to be a voice/video(?) call with all the listeners in it? If it were broadcast as a live video and the listeners were just watching, it would scale infinitely without problems. As live audio even more easily.
Genuinely surprised he knows enough history to know about the Grande Armée’s march on Moscow
If the rumors are true, that might be the most honest thing that could be said!
I will lay you a bet he has no idea what the Grande Armée was, or what period Napoleon was in, or what names like Borodino or Waterloo have to do with it. More the point, he clearly has no idea how Russia defeated Napoleon, or what General Winter means.
He just heard someone talking about Napoleon’s failure to capture Moscow one time, and it stuck, a factoid completely bereft of context or meaning. Just like every other thing that spills from his toothless mouth.
If only he’d captured the airports, like George Washington did during the civil war.
We will never know why Napoleon failed to deploy his airmobile units to secure vital installations across Russia.
Son aéroglisseur etait plein d’anguilles.
