That’s no turner. This is a turner:

I will show myself out.

This is our favorite spatula.

It doesn’t scratch the pans because it’s made of bamboo but it holds a good edge so it’s simple to flip an egg in the morning.

The same person who buys a spatula turner for their non-dominant hand.

Back OT spatulas…my favourite is quite an old piece. Probably from a charity shop (about 50 cents) or maybe left here in the sharehouse years ago. Fine on any pan but I use cast iron.

The great thing about this spatula, get this!!! is that the longer section of the handle fell off at some point. The one pictured is too long by half. Holding it closer to the action, i have more control and leverage to get up in the eggs business. Flips perfect every time.

by the way, all this spatula talk and no food porn?

That looks just like the spatula I had to replace because I left it in the pan for a bit and it melted.

Don’t do that silly! damn thing will melt. A spatula should be treasured and rested on the pan’s handle only. Another benefit of that halfy-length gripper :+1:

Is that, in fact, HOW you lost half of your handle?
