I’m gesturing right now!
So I’ve noticed.
Could you keep it down?
Damn - you beat me to it.
I was going to ask if it also affected TYPING and say I was GESTICULATING right NOW!
I hope nobody can hear me put my hands over my ears.
Makes me feel better about all the gesticulating I’ve been doing, despite not having the camera driver installed on my new work laptop yet.
Borge was a treasure.
When a speaker keeps pointing at their audience, and/or makes lotsa downward motions, all I hear is “I’m lying through my teeth.”
No singing in the forums! It’s right there in the guidelines, ffs.
"You’re not the boss of me now…!"
I think Italians know this implicitly.
Whoops. Was I gesticulating too loudly?
My bad. That wasn’t for anyone here.
Can you hear this?
This makes me feel slightly better about all the gesticulating I’ve been doing while recording screencasts for my newly online classes. No camera on me, but I’m still trying to show people that the small intestine is over here with my cursor but also my hands.
Makes me feel eccentric to be doing it, but now I feel a little justified.
But are you gesticulating?
Reminds me of an old joke:
Q: What do you call a broken arm for an Italian person?
A: A speech impediment.
