Police union threatens "surprise" for Quentin Tarantino

I never suggest what others should want. But I don’t mind pointing out if what they say they want doesn’t correspond to what they are doing.

I always change my reality. If you are referring to my dislike of this town, I live here as part of a somewhat complicated agreement. If I didn’t agree to it, I wouldn’t be doing it. But I will certainly be happy when my time here is over. That is a large part of the “dream” I advocate, negotiating with people instead of assuming things.

And wasn’t it you who said that I obviously can’t grow vegetables either? XD I have no real formal education, and have spent most of my years on the streets and in squats. I consider it advantageous, because it has been a fine way to live. But not a privilege, because it was not bequeathed by a “superior”.

Where talks with people usually break down is their reluctance to define their “real world”. Even here you refer to joining “the rest of us” as if you were fronting for somebody, rather than putting forth your views on how to live. Perhaps we have different notions of “responsibility”. To me, it means that we have fun actively defining these things for the benefit of our friends and family. To others, I suppose it means that other people tell them how to live.

Trying to navigate these differences is certainly not a matter of me telling people how to live, or disrespecting their choices. Negotiating choices in one’s social life is only “theoretical” to the extent that one doesn’t do it in practice.
