We already had some other statewide primaries that happened in May so there was already an election going on that day. The GOP has been fighting to get that May election day pushed back again, but the SoS (who I believe is a Republican) said he simply does not have any legal standing to do so. His office mailed every registered voter in Georgia an application for an absentee ballot, I got mine today.

Although Captain Brett Crozier wasn’t discharged, he did lose his command. Given how much his crew clearly love him, I sorta pity the next CO who has to take command of the Roosevelt.

Additionally, the site is marred by hypocrisy in that it attacks center-right organizations and networks for taking anonymous funds it calls “dark money” while its parent organization has received a large portion of its budget from left-wing dark money interests.
But the thing is, this kind of us v them politicking is increasingly pointless, and only serves to soak up oxygen that should be used on developing meaningful bipartisan policy — if not now, then when?
