Right? At best, Bud is suited for starting a row. Maybe a fracas. Triggering an apocalypse requires something far more flavorful!

Bakker’s focus on survivalism suggests that they both doesn’t believe in the Rapture, one way or the other.

The alternative is that they believe that Jesus will forgive them for their repeated fraud. If that were true I would take my chances in Hell, if I still believed.

That makes perfect sense. I knew it gave me strength but I hadn’t realized it gave my bipedalism!

I met a Baptist ‘bishop’ (he claimed) in a bar in Oaxaca, Mexico circa 1968. He ordained me with a mug of local beer. Does that make me holier than thou?

… did it come up with that concept of, like, pinniped centaurs on its own

Lite beer – who cares? End-Times are inaugurated with Ripple. If you don’t see demons, you haven’t finished the wee bottle yet.

This has a MUCH different meaning in the States.

Yep, prompt was just “seals preparing for spiritual combat”. To be fair I find it is really happy to add extra limbs in whenever it can.
