Kirk spent more time trying to smooch,

Pike just wants to cook everyone a nice meal.

I can only think of two SF characters who know/appreciate cooking:
Captain Pike and Sgt Garibaldi from Babylon 5.

Benjamin Sisko? Riker appreciated cooking, but maybe didn’t know it so well.

7 years an Ensign. Even the Lower Decks screwups became Lt Jg after 4 years.

B’Elanna Torres was made a Lt and she started the show as a civilian. Capt. Janeway just didn’t like field promotions.

OK Sisko was a grave oversight. He even grew his own peppers (which his girlfriend destroyed).

Riker made pizza in an obscure corner of the universe in Picard Season 1.

Both were good calls

For Harry… Let’s not forget that Tom “golden boy” Paris got a demotion and a promotion!!!

Also… which is better?

Riker cooked for everyone occasionally in TNG, but I think I remember people not necessarily liking it. It might have only been Worf, but IDK for sure.

Quarks! I’d say we could do a poll, but is there even any question?

I can’t believe they didn’t have everyone yelling Morn! just like Norm!

Depending on how you define “cooking” Quark’s replicators were well known to be exquisite creation machines. And we all know Rom was who made them go with chewing gum and bailing wire.

If mixology counts I have to throw in Zapod and the pan galactic gargle blaster.

Appreciated it so much he was the Chef on the NX-01!

That sequence is in series 2, IIRC. Pulaski was horrified at the idea of using real eggs, and only Worf liked the taste.

DS9 one is brilliant.
