From We told you the threat is white supremacy. Because the Australian media were too chickenshit to print it.
Something a bit more refreshing from the Australian Taxpayers’ Alliance:
Perhaps they issued that statement because people might expect them to agree with Anning, since they are hostile to “special interests” and object to public spending on “diversity and inclusion”.
Not in my mind. While extremists in some religions are very violent, most adherents in all the religions I can think of are not.
And it’s the adherents themselves who are violent or not, not the religions.
When ‘first past the post’ was used for the Australian senate there were the following results:
1931: The United Australia Party won 50% of the seats with 25% of the overall vote.
1934: The United Australia Party won 55% of the seats with 21% of the overall vote.
1937: The Australian Labor Party won 84% of the seats with 20% of the overall vote.
1940: The UAP/Country Party coalition 84% of the seats with 50% of the overall vote
1943: The Australian Labor Party won 100% of the seats with 55% of the overall vote.
Now you have some actual evidence for your argument against ‘proportional representation’.
This is what Go Fund Me was invented for:
Buying more eggs for eggboi.
Or just resist the urge and give to the victims fund instead.
It’s wonderful to see so many peeps egging him on.
1.2m people so far have signed a petition to have Anning removed from parliament. For context, Aystralia’s population is nearly 25m.

Eggboy helping senator to caste off the yolk of fascism or perhaps just to separate the whites
Yesss! This is awesome. Very brave young man.
You know I watched the whole series that guy did, and I have to say it is well done and I think pretty accurate.
This isn’t a failure of the system (well, the system which should have pre-checked a candidate’s eligibility to run). This is the failure of one person running who was ineligible, and mucking up the results. Remove that guy at the beginning, you would have had a different person run and probably voted for over the guy who got the 19 votes.
Personally I would LOVE it if the US adopted this sort of voting scheme. It would give actual 3rd party types a freaking chance, vs just being forced into one of the two parties. I can’t help but think that if this were combined with campaign finance reform, it would reduce the power of the Republicans and Democrats in the US, and give alternative, moderate voices a chance.
What kind of egg is that?
