There must be a corvid pun there.
I am a Raven, as smart as can be.
Is there room on the broom for a bird like me?
Nice familiar for a witch.
“I clipped its wings and tied its feet together, and amazingly it hops on the broom to get out of the snow!”
Yes!
Those appear to be jesses, not ties. Ravens are quite playful, and I don’t see any evidence of clipped wings.
After getting the crows at my local park to trust me, I set my sights on the much more wary ravens a couple of weeks ago, and now can get them to fly over when I wave at them. Yes, treats are the lure, but ravens are quite suspicious of those to begin with–around here they assume everything is a trap by default. Now, if I pretend to ignore the ravens, they land and waddle closer and closer, croaking softly to get my attention.
