Ron DeSantis appears to be wearing extreme heel lifts and is having trouble walking in them

Was going to say., now he reminds me of Arnold Friend.

Let’s not do this, please. There are plenty of short men who aren’t like this, and plenty of tall men who are. Being short doesn’t make someone an asshole. I’m sorry your dad was a jerk, but being self-conscious of his height isn’t what made him that way.

ETA: 5’9” is not short for a man. It’s average.

He’s following in Dolt 45’s wobbly footsteps.

Sorry, Ronbo, all the height in the world won’t make you a better human being… try working on that aspect of yourself first.

Training for the critical dozen+ or so Midwestern electoral vote campaign.

If only there were some experienced drag artistes around in Florida to show him how to wear heels with poise and elegance.

Ron(ald) “McDonald” DeSantis is surely a better nickname than the others.

Little Boots?

“little man syndrome” is not present in 100% of the male population under 5’9". Most of the group are normal humans, pleasant to be around.

You can get a lot more boot-licking in if you take a pair home with you.

“Little man syndrome” isn’t a thing. It’s just called being an asshole. Use of that term causes men, and some women, who are short to be really reluctant to express anger, or even be assertive, even when it’s justified, because that term will get thrown at them. Being short doesn’t cause people to be assholes. DeSantis is just an insecure asshole.

Large Man Syndrome, while less talked about, is much more prevalent.

It’s almost certainly on the short end for the military. Taller soldiers are bigger and can carry more weight. He’s a couple of inches shorter than the average height of men attending Ivy League schools.

Desatan wasn’t big and tough like the ‘real soldiers’ at Gitmo. My thumbnail assessment is that he took pleasure in dominating the detainees by proxy. He’s also much shorter than his main competition for the GQP presidential candidacy, who also is alleged to wear lifts.

  1. He needs to stuff the toes with paper like new shoes.

  2. He could just go Goth. There are a variety of looks that incorporate really tall boots.

It’s perfectly fine for a man to express himself by wearing some high heels. What isn’t fine is to be a bigot (ETA) and an asshole.

Nice find. I like how there’s a little decorative sewn detail where the bend at the ball of your foot would usually be on a normal boot.

And it’s all silly. 5’9” isn’t short. It’s average. It’s just that for some reason presidents tend to be on the taller (6’ and up) side. He seems to think that elevator shoes will make him look more presidential or something? It just makes him look foolish with that silly walk and weird bodily proportions.

Height may make you look imposing but it has no bearing on your intelligence, character, or suitability for office. DeSantis may be intelligent, but all the height in the world won’t make him not be an awful human being.
