I reckon that’s how long they* “think” it’d take to come up with still more conspiracy idiocies, ones which no one would ever sign, and so bad they’d burn the paper on which they were printed/written.
*Whoever they are - merkin von bankrupt and its minions may well be summoning and consulting demons.
We should start a support group here at the BBS for us current and former Alabamians who still bear the scars from their abusive relationship with the state (“but you don’t see it when it’s being well-behaved!”).
Something that I still can’t quite grasp is that for days, everyone couldn’t shut up about how Trump was gonna burn Pence yesterday because of his “refusal” to go along with their stupid plan, and how Trump said he was gonna do it.
But on the other hand, you’ve got this Incompetent Shart Farce Squad that’s repeatedly fucked up in the most spectacular ways for months and they’re STILL being sent out to do Trump’s dirty work? What?
Sounds like he’s reading a pre-written script… Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but it really makes the message feel a lot less credible (which is saying something given that it’s coming from the Ghoul himself).
I just can’t believe they got more than a hundred members of the house on board. Seems like their strategy is to wait for all the rational people’s heads to explode, which feels likely.
I think this is just the pro-wrestlification of conservative politics taken to its logical conclusion. I am sure on some level most of them realize that it all bullshit all the way down, but details like that are no reason to break kayfabe even in private. And what scares me most is that a substantial part of the electorate seems to have adopted the same attitude.
