It might make sense to withdraw it if they had evidence the NES mini competed with WiiU / Switch sales.
The worst thing was that FFT was language locked per region. This was before the app store requirements included showing what language a game screens were so ¥1400 down the toilet for me.

Yoshi’s Island is a masterpiece. Faultless gameplay, ingenious mechanics, and an aesthetic coherence so strong that it makes me even its glitzy, 64-bit sequel somehow feel disjointed by comparison.
It certainly gets my vote for greatest platformer of all-time. And I was a Sega stalwart for most of the 16-bit era.

The only rumor I have heard is that it competes with their virtual console sales, but all of those are already competing with emulators.
