C’mon! Was aquitted for that one, and then made an album cover of it in a definitely-innocent sort of move.

It’s the murder he was convicted on.

Hey, but he loves his Mum, and he only kills his own; a bit like a fright-face Kray Brother.

“Mithridates, he died old.”

Last line of AE Housman’s Terrence this is stupid stuff.

Seems like there is likely a covering of positive emotions which could be looked down on by a masculine social groups. Rage is usually used negatively within broader society.

Hopefully this research is of good quality; but if not, hopefully someone will at least get in the spirit of the occasion in their scathing rebuttal.

If someone has to be accused of p-hacking some tepid data into minimum publishable units we can at least get Offal Fragment Mutilation to Meaning: Methodological Inadequacies in the Social Psychology of Death Metal or something out of it.

Please?

Lets not confuse Black Metal and Death metal. Very different music and fans.

Le sigh. No. Norwegian Death Metal bands did not burn churches. That’s Black Metal that you are thinking of. It’s different.

But the black metalheads I know are generally in on the joke. The church burners and nazis generally aren’t. But they suck anyway.

Huge metal fan myself. Took my son to his first Iron Maiden concert couple years ago. Before anybody laughs, yes, I am old… Anyway, i think you would find a lot of us who grew up on prog rock got into metal because it is intricate and intelligent, 2 things sorely lacking in the current crop of rock music.

Check out Nightwish sometime. Excellent intelligent metal!
