Nope. And apparently some saw that his constant derailing and interrupting of Clinton, and his continued doubling down on issues like the emails, Benghazi, etc, INSTEAD OF ANSWERING THE QUESTIONS ASKED, constituted a victory for Trump. Even Brooks thought itās going to āstop the slideā (which I think I mentioned upthread?). But yeah, I think youāre correct in that he answered no questions.

I feel like heās doing something strategic ā doubling his time by answering questions with two minutes of off topic yelling at Hillary, which nets him more response time when the moderators say ābut you didnāt answer the question. Iāll repeat itā¦ā

Not clever, no ā heās a terrible debater, awful public speaker, and can barely put a thought together. But like a class clown in school, he discovered that he can just yell and yell anything he wants, not even bothering to answer questions, and theyāll just keep letting him talk! And if they try to move on, he can just whine and pout about how the woman on stage gets to talk more than he does, and they magically give him more time!

I wish Iād watched the debates now. I need to study how to respond, facial and other nonverbal cues included, to unhinged bratty louts when the option to disengage and walk away simply isnāt there. Could be useful employment social skill.

Maybe, but the moderators constantly tried to push back at him. He kept trying to bully them into letting him talk. They were right to ask him to answer the questions, though.

Absolutely, to be fair, the moderators did an excellent job. They pressed him on issues, called him on his BS multiple times, and made it clear that they were tired of his shit. I just wouldāve liked them to have occasionally said āNOā when he whined about wanting more time to lie.
