Serial racist: for years, New Yorkers have been videoing their encounters with ranting racist lawyer Aaron Schlossberg

I wouldn’t be surprised if he really is just trying to bait someone into reacting in a way he can make money off while also gaining notoriety from the alt-right.

New York City, so he probably isn’t armed, right?

Well, whats do degens loves? Well, besides nose-pickin’ pissin’ outside, nothing.
Well, there are many things that if you were to watch the evening news, you would stop and say to yourself, “What a fuckin’ degenerate son of a bitch.”
I would say at the top of the list would probably be Racists.
God damn right.
Racists is definitely degens.

Possibly. But the other thought is that if he truly offends someone far enough, he will be dead and there won’t be any collecting except maybe a long zipping sound and the click of stretcher wheels on pavement.

Or rather than an American citizen from (insert name of state).

The only way to deal with asshole like this is to punch them in the face like a Nazi. Repeat until you feel a sense of catharsis.

Absolutely, but the biggest portion of Spanish speakers in NYC are from PR. Not even “immigrants,” let alone “illegals.” Just a bunch of American-born citizens speaking their native language.

Thing is, WBC makes sure they trolley people with assets they can go after. This guy trollies random strangers in taco joints. If he gets his teeth kicked in and then sues his assailant for everything they’re worth, and it turns out to be $1.28, he sold his teeth pretty cheap.

Maybe even warrants a “Christ, wart on asshole”.

It has long been a “joke” that there are more Puerto Ricans in the mainland US than on the island of Puerto Rico itself (it’s actually true, so not a joke, but still kind of funny in a way). New York City metro area alone has over a million Puerto Rican residents.

I say he’s not too far from becoming a serial killer. Or is he?

Quite a tactic he has there. What nobody realizes is that while he’s making a fuss, his accomplice is picking pockets of the gathering crowds. :sunglasses:

These kind of takes aren’t looking so good in this context:

The guy is finally facing the consequences of a long pattern of not just wildly abusive but dysfunctional behavior. Of course no one wants to be associated with him, even by physical proximity. Nor should they. It’s not even about “punishing” him for his behavior, but protecting others from him.

" Imagine this happening to someone you agree with and see how you feel."

I hate this kind of rhetoric, normalizing this kind of behavior by suggesting it is exchangeable with any opinion.

“Imagine how that child abuser feels, now imagine you were facing the same consequences he is but for swimming in a public pool after hours… doesn’t that feel unfair? The poor guy deserves a break…”

Yeah, it’s not only an absurd argument, the thing is, I actually did think about that. The “harassment” he’s suffering is reporters following him around asking him questions, which is obviously something they’ll quickly tire of. (His response: calling the cops - how surprising - while falsely claiming they assaulted him. Which, it turns out, is his default response to being annoyed.) My initial response was to think about various people - strangers and acquaintances - who did nothing wrong, sometimes who were victims of crimes or a family member, who also got pestered by reporters just for having the misfortune of being part of a news story or otherwise being famous, and who suffered worse media harassment for far longer. So yeah, I’m perfectly fine with the treatment this guy is getting - he at least actually deserves it.

I almost suspect that is his business model. Can anybody confirm if / how much money he has made off lawsuits & settlements involving violent street confrontation?

I wouldn’t say they’re all born and raised there. Fair bit of them either now live in New Jersey or on Long Island or were born and raised there rather than in city limits. And the concentration of this sort of stereotypical NY asshole is highest in North Jersey and Long Island. They absolutely consider themselves to be the only true New Yorkers. More of a phenomena of the whole NY Metro area rather than just the city.

Most of them seem to be Italian American. Though there’s a rich vein of them in the NY Irish American Community. But in either case it’s the sort of Italian or Irish American that’s completely disconnected from anything like an active or recent immigrant community. And they’re always loudly more Italian, Irish or what have than anyone else on hand.

This lawyer is a really specific kind of NY area mook. They’re deeply and willfully parochial, And constantly complain about NY being ruined by others. This is the steak well done crowd. I’ve heard people like this complain that a really nice restaurant was “hipster shit” because it didn’t have pasta. That Harlem was being ruined by all the blacks and “mexicans” who “suddenly” moved in. Fucking Harlem.

No. He’s just very important. More important than you. How dare you. Go back where you came from. This is New York!
