LEGO Star Wars almost bankrupt LEGO several times.

From the look of that X-wing, you can sit Luke in it fine… but there’s no obvious port for R2D2… shame.

You can tell that’s not true to the real Death Star’s design because the walkway includes OSHA-compliant safety rails.

What shame? It’s Lego, you just take the dome off of R2D2 and stick him on the back of the X-wing. Voila!

Huh? Need more info, plz.

First Xmas of LEGO Star Wars toys? BIG HUGE SALES, NOT ENOUGH STOCK
Second Xmas – NO STAR WARS MOVIE, LEGO waaaaay over produced.

I think this has happened 2x to them wrt Star Wars movie schedule and their own lack of awareness fucking them.

Oof.

This is why I cut toymakers a ton of slack over availability issues (Nintendo included). This can’t be an easy thing to do.

What are those little green circles in the lower left of the picture?

Lego.

(Or should it be Legos?)

Nope. LEGO also seems to learn slowly and made the same mistake with Harry Potter.

No, it shouldn’t be ‘legos’, according to the Lego company.

I get that the green thinks are components of the set, but what’s their intended purpose?

[Thanks anyway  ]
