The way he’s dragging this out; if he’s convicted he’ll be in prison through the midterms. His ability to fundraise would be severely impaired.
I also doubt he’ll thrive in prison. Switching from a fifth a day of expensive single malt to pruno won’t be easy on his system.
I doubt he can run his podcast over the prison phone system. And even if they let him he only gets up to 300 minutes a month to use.
It’s not really going to be a vacation for a guy pushing 68/69 and thinking he can bully others. He’s going to be disabused of that notion by both his inmates and the guards.
