Anyone who saw Seinfeld S09E05 “The Junk Mail” knows the USPS is a member of the US Armed Forces. (They have a Postmaster General.)
Now that Trump knows USPS has law enforcement officers…

Almost, yes. The National Instutute of Standards has its own police. The Government Printing Office has its own police. Heck, the Library of Congress had its own police until they were merged with the Capitol Police in 2003.

As funny as he could be sometimes, I’ve never looked at Seinfeld the same way since learning many years ago, while he was still at peak popularity, he dated a 17 year old high school girl when he was 38. Creepy as hell, and I’m surprised it hasn’t really come up again during the “me too” era.

There’s nothing weirder than the Trump administration. They’re not just norm-violating, but reality-violating as well, because there’s no possible way that people so dumb, openly criminal, incompetent and generally ill-suited for the jobs could be in those positions. It’s not remotely plausible, even as fiction.
He and his staff are so emboldened by their incredibly dumb, transparent attempts at manipulation working on their base that they think they’ll always work. They don’t:
