Ted Cruz jokes about killing Donald Trump

This is only somewhat related but for some reason, Epic Rap Battles of History popped into my mind. I kind of want to see one where Donald “Donnie” Trump and Rafael Edward “Ted” Cruz battle Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Donatello (“Donnie”) and Raphael.

I would expect the Turtles to win with their ninja skills and experience. They previously battled the Renaissance artists for whom they were named. While Trump has also battled, versus Ebenezer Scrooge, Cruz has not.

The real reason that those corporatists Discourse overlords are getting rid of [size] is to prevent the truth from coming out.

Maybe he just has the dumbest guests. I wouldn’t know. I don’t watch him

Oh – sorry you mistake my hate for disgust.

Maybe…

Amen. We have a separate debate going on “Why You Should Not Vote for Hilary Diane Rodham Clinton nor Rafael Edward “Ted” Cruz.” It sounds like you have many opinions that could be shared in that discussion.

That word…

Damn, I’m a noob here, and even I know that’s not the case with the majority of members on this site; at least not from what I’ve seen in my short time here.

Good luck; the natives are gonna have a field day with you.

Sorry you were unable to follow the entire thread of this conversation. Had you, you’d understand it has to do with disgust towards those who think it’s funny for Cruz, a presidential candidate (or anyone else for that matter) to suggest murdering another human being while on national TV is funny. And then I discovered, it wasn’t just Cruz who thought it was okay – but many of the people who were commenting in here.

I just can’t understand how those same people had total outrage when Trump said he’d ‘spill the beans’ on Heidi if Ted didn’t stop. Many, including Cruz, felt that was an attack – omg – you would have thought the world was coming to an end with the 24/7 coverage.

Trump and his family (including his grandchildren) are receiving death threats, as we speak. We have innocent people, police, you name it being murdered everyday. And here comes Cruz, as a presidential candidate, suggesting murder is funny, that it’s something to laugh about . Is that okay with you? It certainly isn’t with me.

We already have enough sick, evil people out there. Do we really need Cruz, a presidential candidate, throwing fuel on the fire.

Makes me sick. Confirms what 7 yrs of liberalism can do to a nation.

Do you understand yet, nemomen? If not, I pray you will someday.

It’s not a human being. It’s a politician. There’s a sea of difference.

Now you’re starting to sound like Ted Cruz…

Yes, we should hold Cruz to the high standard of Trump who merely fantasizes out loud about punching protestors in the face, longing for the good old days when those who dared to disagree would be carried out on stretchers. Oh, wait, Ted was making a lame joke, and obviously wasn’t advocating actual harm. Trump was serious, was advocating actual harm, and there’s been a lot of violence done at his rallies. Your sense of disgust is very misplaced.

You don’t get it’s – it’s not a joke to all the sick, evil people. To them it’s a directive from a presidential candidate. Go ahead…it’s okay to do it – people will laugh.

And Trump wasn’t any better suggesting punching people. But to be honest, I’d rather be punched than run over by a car.

Indeed; when there are so many other aspects of our current society that are worthy of true disgust;

From the establishment death-grip that the two party system has on the republic, (to the point where only the very rich make laws that they are not themselves subject to) to the archaic educational system, to the broken legal system, to the insanely corrupt penal system, and the list goes on and on.

Jokes made in poor taste during a shit-storm of an election is the least of our worries, IMO.

The only reason you might see any lack of disgust is that both Cruz and Trump are both so over the top it’s ridiculous. And so ridicule is what they get.

Heck, it’s even an improvement for Cruz. This time he was talking about murdering only one person. Earlier he was promising carpet-bombing, a crime even in the context of war because it involves mass-murder of civilians near your enemy. Trump is in the same boat.

Both call for the US to be a torture state. Meaning that both, if elected and keep their promises, could and should end twitching on the end of a rope.

Not that you seem to have any objection to their demands for war crimes.

Confirms what 7 yrs of liberalism can do to a nation.

WHAT “7 yrs of liberalism?”

Obama has run the country as essentially Rove/Cheney/Bush II’s third and fourth terms. Demonstrably to the right of Ronald Reagan. (Granted, if Reagan were running today he’d be tarred and feathered as a gun-grabbing commie Marxist socialist.)

For all the complaints the farther right has about him, it’s hard to identify one where Obama isn’t following what was Republican policy before he adopted it. That includes ObamaCare, AKA “15 years of Republican healthcare policy until the moment Obama adopted it.”

About the only exception is same-sex marriage, and even then he’s just a few years ahead of Republicans. George and Barbara Bush and Dick Cheney openly support it. Small wonder, since polls show that most Americans support it and the numbers are growing. With Huckabee out of the race it’s disappeared as an election issue.

I pray you will someday.

Splendid. The rest of us will think for you.

Bite your tongue daneel!!! LOL

Cruz is establishment and I have a ton of other reasons I would never vote for Cruz. I really don’t think he’d win in general election anyway. I can’t see a dem voting for someone who believes “America should be governed by Dominionism’s interpretation of Biblical law, and exclusively by those who believe as they do.” That’s the religion Raphael Sr… preaches and Raphael Jr. follows.

Why single out “Dems?” Even the most mildly libertarian Republican would oppose it. Not to mention any non-dominionist Christian, Jewish, Mormon or non-religious Republican.

4/5 stars for feined outrage and blaming it on liberals
2/5 stars for originality
5/5 stars for gusto and a can-do attitude.

Got any more? I can make popcorn!

I’m surprised he didn’t make birther claims about Obama. Or the far more valid birther claims possible for Cruz.

Well… When Cruz says it, he knows his supporters aren’t listening to his talk show jokes for secret kill orders.
