Wait I thought having a private jet was virtuous? Where else could you meet ordinary citizens to get policy advice but at the hangar?
First, one would think that Ted Cruz would do everything in his power to steer the topic of conversation away from air travel.
Second, are we back to shaming politicians for being wealthy again? I thought the GOP put that on hold when they nominated the guy whose sole qualification for office was being rich.
I mean you are a shitty person if you fly to a climate conference on a private jet, no matter what party you’re in.
But oh my god his face when one of his colleagues cracked ‘Portman does.’
That was priceless.
His face when he hears, “Portman does.” Priceless. It kind of looks like, “Well, truth doesn’t really matter, we should still all be angry at Kerry because reasons.!”
@anon85524460 - Jinx!
Cruz is an idiot. He knows damn well he and his fellow Senate Critters can charter private jets using taxpayer monies. No need to own.
Ohhhh, but everyone across the aisle is an elitist! Sounds like a Socialist transportation apparatus doesn’t it Blowfish Ted?
Pffft. Amateurs. Everyone knows you don’t own a jet, the real ones use NetJets or WheelsUp!
Where’s that “Curb Your Enthusiasm” theme when you need it??
Kind of a weird thing for Cruz to criticize. Has Trump ever flown on a commercial airline?
When he owned one?
He used to own a commercial airline – and I’m sure he never even flew on that.
Self-own Achieved!
Lacking self-awareness is Ted Cruz’s forte
I’d think he would have, to widen the field of gropeable seatmates.
Not to mention, you can turn it around on him easily by pointing out that his wealthy donors all have private jets and he voted in favor of a large tax cut that carved out some special conditions for private jet owners.
Or Up’n’Uber
Hey Ted,
How bout all those Right Wing Televangelists who “NEED” private jets…???
Let’s review:
