The "Blacks for Trump" guy used to be in a murder cult

Crazy has to stick together.

I’ve noted it too with left wing fringe groups too.

Good point. The way I see it we have someone who’s in the spotlight because he’s said and done outrageous things including inciting violence.

And the same can be said about Michael Symonette.

Don’t forget the new wave of witch hunting that’s going on in Africa right now that’s fueled by christian missionaries.

The New Testament teaches this, but like you wrote, people with issues just look for confirmation rather than growth. I ran across an article about the attitude of certainty where I made this comment:

The irony of evangelicals talking about “growing in faith” is palpable. Many, if not most, evangelicals’ connotation of “growing in faith” is “becoming more and more certain in one’s theological beliefs.” Sadly, this contradicts what the Bible actually teaches. Faith has to do with trusting God, regardless of the circumstances. And growing in said faith is actually a process of maintaining that trust (or increasing it) when one’s confidence wanes. I honestly don’t understand how anyone can claim to have faith and certainty. If you are certain, you require no faith. Faith can only flourish where there is no certainty.

We used to catch these Yahweh Ben Yahweh videos, too. Weirdly fascinating, as with all cults. And quite hilarious.

“The original word for ‘swaddling clothes’ is such-and-such. Such-and-such has the same number of letters as Yahweh-Ben-Yahweh. This is proof that Yahweh Ben Yahweh is the Savior mentioned in Scripture!”

You can’t argue with that.

Review: Mostly good. But a tad too coherent to have come from the cheeto abomination’s mouth.

Sure, but it’s pretty damn terrifying when one of America’s two major political parties becomes indistinguishable from a “fringe group.”

From ALMOST ALL violent fringe groups.

So he went from murder cult to (political) suicide cult? Is that a step up or a step down?

What you say is true, but we’re not talking about “stupid” here - he’s showing some outright deranged thinking. That is associated with religion, especially “non-mainstream” religion (i.e. “cults”), especially especially the intersection of religion and conspiracy theories. That adds extra layers - seeing connections where there aren’t any, having every aspect of reality be given neat explanatory mechanisms, etc.

Looks like we found the guy that is propping up that margin of error for 1% of the African-American vote:

Which is kinda sad really. Don’t get me wrong I like routine and known, but my takeaway from sunday service was less’ fuck those guys’ and more ‘help these people.’ Then again I was lucky and the pastor I grew up with never went on hellfire sermons so far as I recall, preferring to focus on ‘christ the provider’ and ‘help your neighbor’ type sermons.

On the other hand people will find any way they can to excuse their own shitty behavior if not get people to agree they’re right. Religion is just another way people do that. Then again so is science, for every ‘psudo science’ we discard as quackery used to have enough traction to at least have a few followers. Said junk science included explanations on why black people (and the irish) are inherently inferior, why jews are evil, the uplifting of one’s own race as inherently better, trying to ‘scientifically justify’ bigotry, homophobia, the roles of gender in the world, and so forth.

Any ideology can be used as a club if you do not bother questioning why this thing is so.

Or, to put in the words of Ezio Auditori from Assassin’s Creed:

“To say that nothing is true, is to realize that the foundations of society are fragile, and that we must be the shepherds of our own civilization. To say that everything is permitted, is to understand that we are the architects of our actions, and that we must live with their consequences, whether glorious or tragic.”

I couldn’t understand this individual (due to the yelling around him), so I turned on YouTube closed-captioning. The results were the textual version of Google’s Nightmare (i.e., “DreamScape”) mode:

“I couldn’t hear your drug class 10 because I they’re pretty they’re stronger when he’s very athletic that tribulation that’s life here we are right here this man has beendoing good and we just attacked the plane and more thing do you like right like you’re wet…”

(Not agreeing with or criticizing this individual, just reflecting on the bizarre results of Google’s automatic translation.)

By the way, I would never believe for a moment that Donald Trump “attacked the plane” (or that he has ever attacked any planes). That would be crazy. Donald Trump has the utmost respect for every airplane, except for the “loser” and “low-energy” airplanes like the Wright Brother’s Flyer and the Airbus A380.

For the avoidance of doubt, I do not believe for a moment that Donald Trump attacked any planes on 9/11. You should be ashamed of yourself for thinking otherwise. That absolutely DID NOT HAPPEN. Please stop spreading rumors that Donald Trump attacked any airplanes on September 11.

Instead, the Mexican rapist terrorists hijaked the airplanes while attempting to rape our women, espcially the hubba-hubba women like Melania and Ivanka Trump, who are both entirely datable according to Donald. They were aiming the airplanes at Chris Christie while he was blocking eastbound traffic on the Washington Bridge to Fort Lee with his impressive girdth. They somehow missed him and accidentally hit the Twin Towers instead. It was a tragedy.

In a poorly-time coincidence, there were also some Muhammoden terrorists who had scheduled a parade and celebration down Fith Avenue while yelling “Ali Akbar” and “Death to America.” Donald Trump was eating a taco salad (with no vegetables) prepared by his “run for the border” employees at his penthouse.

Meanwhile, Obama (the future senator) quivered in his boots and failed to take any decisive action. That’s easily verifiable from CNN footage that has since been destroyed by the liberal media and no longer exists.

To be clear, Donald Trump had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO with attacking planes on 9/11. Please stop spreading such horrible and unpatriotic rumors. They’re revolting. #MAGA

Yep. He’s been angling for a job with Rupert Murdoch at The Sun. No joke.

Sincere enquiry into the world with a focus on observing and recording accurately is a great place to start.

Scientific method is the key as far as I’m concerned. Be ever ready to question your theory when anomalous observations can’t be explained within it.

This has to include the personal for each scientist involved, for we too can be faulty instruments working with poor theories internally

And then there’s this guy, who wears the trappings of Christianity as a disguise over what is apparently some pretty powerful witch doctor juju. (If you can’t beat 'em join 'em?)

There was one other supporter but then Trump called him a “thug” and kicked him out of the rally because he assumed the black guy was there to protest against him.
