Ten candidates running in the European Parliament election have faced at least one criminal charge over the past five years, according to a report by Helsingin Sanomat.
The most common charges include defamation and incitement against an ethnic group.
The highest number of candidates facing criminal charges are from the Finns Party and the Freedom League. In both parties, 15 percent, or three candidates, have faced one or more charges. The majority of these candidates are men.
With restraining order applications included, the number of Finns Party candidates rises to four, and the percentage to 20.
A charge is not a conviction, and a charge does not necessarily mean that a candidate has committed a crime.

The John Doe, who’s suing under a pseudonym because he was a minor at the time, is the son of a woman with whom Howard was in a relationship in Broward, according to the filing. When the boy’s mother got pregnant around September 2022, Howard demanded she have an abortion. She refused.
That’s when, attorneys allege, Howard “went on a warpath against her.” Seeking revenge, Howard texted the boy sexually explicit photos of his mother, “causing significant emotional distress,” the lawsuit states.
“This behavior is abhorrent, especially sending this to a child,” Alcalde told the Miami Herald.

This is why people organizing events like this NEED to include LGBT, BIPOC, and other minorities in planning. We could have nipped that in the bud, it’s not like his heel turn is recent news to those who don’t just remember him as that guy that was on SNL and in some bad movies in the 2000s.

Ok, so this is cruel and pretty evil, but what I don’t get is, what crime did she commit? Did she have a duty of care to get him out of the suitcase? And if so, how does that rise to 2nd degree murder? And what does that say about cops who courts have ruled have no such duty of care?
