I watched last night and I was very shocked about seeing Roseanne assaulting her granddaughter. On top of that, how is that show of strength consistent with her needing the use the stair chair? And teenagers do not react like that after being assaulted, all submissive. Roseanne’s action reminded me of Trump’s calls for roughing up protesters during the campaign. Disgusting.

Well, I watched the new episode. It was OK, not as good as the first two IMHO. For now, I’ll probably keep watching.
The scene where Roseanne holds her granddaughter’s head in the sink and sprays her with water was… Well, let’s say pretty tame, not exactly what I’d call corporal punishment (I say this as someone who was spanked and had his mouth washed out with soap as a kid – I’m sure you’re all very surprised!)
