One of the animators on Davey & Goliath was Peter “Sneaky Pete” Kleinow, pedal steel guitarist for the Flying Burrito Brothers. He also worked on Gumby. R.I.P. Pete

YES! The episodes in my day(60’s) had “A Mighty Fortress” as the theme, not “The Church’s One Foundation” as in this '71 episode. Also, don’t actually remember a lot of details, but don’t think the episodes were as ethnically diverse then.

All star wrestling came on out of KC as well. That was my Sunday morning.
Davy and Goliath, and the beginning of wrestling before being whisked off
to church under protest just as bull dog Bob Brown was being interviewed
pre match.
