Dude in the front looked like he was ready to run before he even looked. Must be a notorious escalator.

All escalators in China are notorious. I wouldn’t trust the elevators either. Or the sidewalks.

Foods great though, the gutter oil really adds to the the flavor.

He might have heard the suitcase fall and start to bump down the steps, maybe one or more people making surprised noises behind him. I’d look and be ready to run, too. (Although my fear of escalators has more to do with American Werewolf in London than anything else…)

That the woman ran to check on the person hit by her suitcase first restores a little faith in humanity.

Or, better yet, take an elevator if you can.

Evidently you’ve never spent an hour on a stuck elevator. At least the escalator doesn’t hold me prisoner when it fails.

They skipped over the part where she went back up and tried it again. It wasn’t easy, she was almost paralyzed with laughter.

Bless you for spreading the Gospel of Joe!

When was the first time?

I think the Barber Adagio for Strings - plus the super slo-mo.

Well, that escalated quickly!

(At least it wasn’t a bowling ball.)
