For anyone who grew up watching Nickelodeon the Nick Knacks channel is a treasure trove of information and insight. The āSample Plattersā briefly look at single episodes and this one is especially interesting.
ETA: What makes it interesting is it focuses on the 2002 episode āThe Boy Who Would Be Queenā which, unlike most other Fairly Oddparents episodes, has a surprisingly progressive take on the social construction of gender, while also revealing how much weāve gone backward.
