We already fought a extensive and bloody battle against like caps. We had some highly valued and loved members like @anon67050589 go on hiatus because of like caps.

Let’s not go back to this again. Losing the #lounge and our hard earned status so abruptly is already a hard enough pill to swallow.

Regulars got effectively unlimited likes and the world didn’t end. Likes aren’t a currency or commodity. There’s nothing precious about them. They are a way to both support others as well as passively involve ones self in discussions.

I thought I was done worrying about “like rationing.” It sucks that this is one again an issue.

Exactly. Removing caps promoted engagement. @TobinL has spent a lot of time reading and liking posts that make good points; to subject him to be tied for #1 with a brand new 4chan alt would be the utmost insult.
